Our brand new eco-friendly log cabin boasts rustic charm and a romantic atmosphere. We have stunning views of up to 100 miles down the Glenalmond Valley. The interiors have been carefully selected from around the world and will add interest to your stay. Enjoy the hot tub in the evening before slipping into sumptuous sheets for a peaceful nights sleep away from it all.

About The Cabin

You’ll have the cabin all to yourself. There are two bedrooms. One king size bed on the mezzanine above the main living area with the incredible views and one twin bedroom downstairs. The cabin doesn’t incude a television, a selection of board games and books are supplied for entertainment.

It is eco friendly and has a built in log burning stove. We will try to have it lit for your arrival and it’s very simple to get going yourselves when you want it during your stay. We provide all logs for both log burning stoves. We also provide an outdoor gas barbecue.

Guests have access to the entire property. The hot tub is for log cabin guests only. The home is well-lit and has step-free access.

Interaction with guests

We will certainly pop down to the cabin during your stay just to say hi and make sure you have everything you need. We are a short walk or phone call away should you have any questions.

Other things to note

This property is not at all suitable for small children. The house has a very steep stairs to the mezzanine and a log burning stove with no guard.

Head North over Forth Road Bridge and up M90 to KINROSS At motorway roundabout take 3rd Exit
After 100m turn left signed MILNATHORT
After about 1 mile at end of the road turn left signed MILNATHORT straight on into MILNATHORT and come to mini roundabout Take 2nd Exit (straight over) and stay on this road for 2 miles Turn left signed PATH of CONDIE
Go up this road for EXACTLY 3 miles look for a Blue metal fence on left and on the right a stone entrance wall with CRAIGHEAD sign in the wall at far end of the fence

From Glasgow or South of England

Head north up M9 / A9 for Perth and north of Scotland
5 miles south-west of Perth and 5 miles northeast of Gleneagles turn right for DUNNING
Follow road into DUNNING and turn left in village at crossroads
Go past SPAR and Post office on right and continue on this road out of the village
Head up the narrow road into hills for 4 miles
Come to a Y junction and a white cottage
Turn right, signed MILNATHORT
Go 1.2 miles from this junction (down very steep bend, up hill on other side and into the trees)
Then a stone entrance wall with CRAIGHEAD sign in the wall on left (if you pass blue metal fence on right you are just too far along.)

From Inverness and North or Perth

Follow A9 around Perth and continue on A9 heading south-west
5 miles south-west of Perth turn left signed Dunning
Follow road into DUNNING and turn left in village at crossroads
Past SPAR and Post office on right and continue on this road out of village Head up narrow road into hills for 4 miles
Come to a Y junction and a white cottage
Turn right signed MILNATHORT

From Dundee and North East Scotland

Follow A90 heading for Perth
Continue heading south of Perth on M90 1 junction to BRIDGE OF EARN / GLENFARG exit
Turn left signed GLENFARG and follow for 6 miles to GLENFARG
In GLENFARG turn right at HOTEL.
After 100m go straight over little crossroads and up Church Brae (church is ahead of you on right)
Go up here for 1.8 miles and turn right signed PATH of CONDIE
Go up this road for EXACTLY 3 miles look for a Blue metal fence on left and a stone entrance wall with CRAIGHEAD sign in the wall on right at far end of fence
